I'll post up the couple of pics I took when I get a chance. Great fun today. Already relatively slippery, tomorrow will be a giant mess. I might also head back there Sunday depending on how my plans lay out. There are some nice climbs if you're locked or not running 33's (so not me //:hlp//) . Thomas did a killer job on that waterfall ledge and Doug made the V-Ditch look easy. Only carnage as far as I could tell was one of Clark's milk crates //LMAO//

If you commit to it, I'll commit to it. Kell may back out in the morning (i.e., she is backing out!). It may be a slip and slide fest with some body damage and a few pulls of winches, but it should be fun.
To anyone who comes tomorrow...make sure your CB works. On a dry day it is ok to have everyone get out and discuss things, but you'll have to offer me cookies or cake to get me out of the Jeep for a discussion on a day like tomorrow.

That place has cleared up a bunch since I was there last month. Some of the leaves have cleared out, think that was the biggest problem when I was there. It took me a lot of skinny pedal to make it up that final ledge. I also had to be winched out of that right rear rock garden that's a big circle and ends with the giant rock between 2 trees. It is def a fun little park that's pretty close, glad everyone had fun today.

It took me a lot of skinny pedal to make it up that final ledge. I also had to be winched out of that right rear rock garden that's a big circle and ends with the giant rock between 2 trees. It is def a fun little park that's pretty close, glad everyone had fun today.
The normal trails were completely covered in leaves. The rock paths were pretty clear, but the ground was so moist that it cause me to have to use a good bit of skinny pedal. I had to just gas it at the slick rock on that waterfall climb. We all jumped out of that path at the slick rock instead of continuing to the big boulder about 30 feet up the hill. Maybe next time we can go there in the Summer when it is dry and traction is increased.

Count me in tomorrow for some muddy goodness. Haven't been out on off road since Windrock and really itching to.

I just cleaned the jeep with a strong spray of water and found some carnage...the expansion joint boot on my front drive shaft pulled away at one end. Terrible carnage :)
There are some new scrapes on the rock sliders...and now they are starting to rust, but that isn't really carnage.

I still need to clean my Jeep and spray can any scrapes on my skids, but I'm not looking forward to it in this cold weather.

Stayed until dark...right after Jim's run up muddy root. Not snow, probably just my hot air being condensed in the cold outside temperature. Sparks were from collision between two of the following three things: tie rod, drag link, and steering stabilizer.

Nah, it was something in the suspension/steering hitting. Zack and Jim got a good look at it...it was determined to not be a big deal.

it was the screw for the tie rod on passenger side that was hitting during flex. the bolt was put in backwards. srry was installing tube fenders today.there and now just wiring for turn signals.jims a good person.
