Pretty cool idea for axle storage.
Pelican ( or the like) rifle case storage case.,

I have front and rear axle shafts hanging out in my trailer tool box that have been banging and clanging for years.  They are ready for duty when called upon.

I don’t have a trailer, and I drive to parks, so I hear them clanging around.  I still think it’s a great idea either way

It does make more sense if you don’t have a trailer. I didn’t think about that way. You could definitely fit more shit in that case and it wouldn’t take up much space
