Just remove your old AA batteries, install the new cover with built in Lithium Ion battery pack and go. The desktop charger will hold just the battery pack or the whole remote.

The 4X Quad Charge Station uses Li-Ion batteries rather than inferior Ni-Mh batteries that are typically used in other similar products and is equipped with a charge-percentage LED that indicates charge status at 25% increments, which gives the user plenty of advance notice before a recharge is required.

good deal! we have it for 2 controllers and it is great. The batteries last a long time and i think just for 2 controllers it cost us around $25 new at the store so for 4 is GREAT at that price.
