I thought i would share a few pics of me and my dad going across Charlies creek into Towns county.

Planning on going back two weeks from now on wed and doing Charlies creek and Bell with ltprice and whoever is interested really. I work at hospital so i have weird days off which makes for open trails mostly though!

Yep the plan is to meet in the morning sometime at Mcdonalds in Clayton and roll out from there. i wouldnt mind checking out the view from the top of bell mtn while we are in the area either.

Hey guys; I just got wind of this run, My son and I would like to go. Will my son have a prob with his stock rig? And the same with me and my BB lift? My son will get off of work at 8am and we will both be leaving from Gwinnett County then. Can we meet up in Helen or somewhere?

No problems for stock rides there is some tricky spots on Charlie's creek road where you to do a little driving. My dad and I went across both ours are stock tho and had no issues. Now on bell mtn it's been about 10 years since I went up there but if I remember correctly there is plenty of by pass opportunities to get by with stock ride as well. I'm thinking we can meet at 10am at the mcdonalds parking lot in Clayton fueled up and ready. I'll post again with updates on the plans as the time gets closer.

Is there any way we can push it back an hour to give me time to get up there? My son gets off work at 8 am that day and we live in Gwinnett. I would really appreciate it. Ill owe you a big hug !!! //:o//

I live in Gwinnett County also! I joined this forum about 15 minutes ago and i'm loving it so far! I would love to ride with you guys but I have a bone stock 2011 Rubicon with highway tires. Is that going to make it out there?

A stock Rubicon shouldn't have any trouble on Charlie's Creek, or any other FS roads.

Wanted to post up final plans. Gwinnett county jeeps are meeting at wal-mart at 20 and 985 at 845-900 then riding to Rabun. We can whoever else is coming from the north at mcdonalds parking lot at 1045-1100 and leave from there. 678-709-6333 if anyone needs to call me to confirm locations or times. Y'all have some fun! Really sorry I can't join in, working in FL this week. Will be looking to hit Charlie's Creek one day next weekend 9/19, 20 or 21, if anyone's interested.

Ok First and formost I want to thank Billy and Levy for taking me and my son to Charlie Creek rd. I had such a great time. You guys ROCK !!!. I felt bad for leaving and wanted to continue on to Bell Mountain but my son was beat and needed some sleep. I am now hooked into this.

Not a problem buddy I had a blast it was a great to ride and great day letting jeeps do what they do best. Look forward to our next trip. We can explore Rabun for days on all legal roads and connectors that will take us from Clayton to NC or SC or just in Georgia. It was a great place to grow up and a great place to home. Cant wait to show y'all more of it!!!!
