wow, you can get these for under 400$! I have experience with the P226 and P229(.40, .357). If its anything like these two you can't go wrong. The first trigger pull with the P229 was about 12lbs, then it went to single action and was 3lbs. What most people dislike about Sig design is the de-cocking feature. You have to make it a habit to check the status of you slide after firing and to de-cock the hammer. I think you will like anything Sig manufactures. I have a P229 in 40cal and love it!! Hope this helps!!

You still looking for opinions ?

I have one in my collection. Its a good starter gun to get for the sig line.

I have a few sigs and it is approx 85% as accuracte as my $900 sigs.

Gun is not balance like the others. But being polymer, thats almost expected.

Trigger pull is long and unrefined. But that goes with the price point.

It goes bang everytime. Wife carries it. I trust it.

The take down lever is a PITA till it gets broke in.

Other then that, I wouldnt have a problem buying another one. But im partial to sigs anyway.

Don't know about the guns but my company extrudes the aluminum frame for some of the Sig Sauer pistols.

only problem i have seen with Sig is that the slide was catching cause of a small barb that a file took care of in less then 10 secs and up and firing again like new.. but that gun had 1000's of rounds fired through it.. hate hand me downs in the military
