it doesn't matter what day it is. Thank a veteran or current service member tell them you appreciate what they did and are doing for our country, freedom, and the freedom of others. it doesn't matter if you don't agree with whats going on or with the president. thank them and remember the ones who paid for it with there lives. my 20 yr old cousin was killed by a roadside bomb friday in Iraq.He was proud of what he was doing. next time you meet one tell them you appreciate what they are doing. his name was Tommy Lee from dalton. Pvt. Thomas E. Lee III, 20, of Dalton, died Thursday in Mosul, Iraq, from wounds from an explosive device that struck his vehicle, the Department of Defense said. Lee was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas

My condolences. I agree we should always thank vets, regardless of your view of war. These men & women fight for our freedom regardless, even if you dont agree with why they are where they're at.
