About Morris Mountain
The park was created from a lack of places to go wheeling. It started as a pastime for Kris and Randy Morris and quickly grew into Morris Mountain ORV Park. The park now has obstacles, trails, mud pits, canyons, and a primitive camping facility.
Our experience trying to find places to ride kept leading us to areas that forced you to pay for full weekends, camping facilities, or required reservations, making a spur of the moment one day wheeling trip impractical or unaffordable. As a result, MMORV has flexible hours and low fees to allow the average joe to take a half -day wheeling trip or a weekend long outing.
Morris Mountain ORV park will be open on the 2nd and 4th weekends of every month only. Note this does not apply to privately rented events.

40 bucks at the gate , atleast there will be a food truck.

Interesting. Keep the same park or go somewhere less crowded?
That's NOT chocco...

I’d also prefer for my junk to break somewhere besides AOP. Windrock? I think I’m ready to take on the access road again.

I'll go to AOP if it's bone dry. Windrock sounds fun too

I'm up for any of those or Hawk Pride too...

Anyone planning to bring kids on this one?
-
Gulches? I don’t even know the last time we actually rode there

I won't be able to that weekend

The 20yo says she is in with her 2yo dog. The 15yo is still undecided.
Probably not the age group your looking for, but a solid yes.

All good. I have a wide range , but may bring the 9yo

I've never been here. All the mixed reviews Ive read over the years, it would be cool to make my own opinion.
Honestly, Im down for what ever. All the trails being closed in Colorado last month has got me feending to wheel.
-
I would be interested in Gulches, AOP,. Only way I’ll go to Windrock is if there is someone in the 37 and under group that knows where they are going , that place is to big to just wing it, you end up driving on flat roads all day.
-
The only problem with Gulches is it’s really small. You can do the whole park in half a day.

2 hours tops. Good people watching though
-
I’m good with sticking with Morris

All roads lead to rattle rock 😁

Ima need to see you put a few hours on that fresh build first sir
-
I dont do Gulches, but yall have at it. If we are going to WR we better check camping sites and cabins in a hurry. AOP and Chocco are no gos for me for at least a couple months.

Some would say the access trail is just as hard on a rig as the trail. Well, maybe not some, maybe just @Raisinhead
All joking aside, I would definitely prefer somewhere closer

lmao lmao lmao lmao wrong coast for a bone dry park. Unless it is middle of summer and hotter than hell.

Which could very well happen in 2 weeks lol

I'm guessing we are not moving the ride.
Morris is still the play?
-
Works for me. I wouldn’t mind watching some bouncers act a fool too
-
Second thought - chocco or AOP might be better given the lack of shitters and showers at MM and all the people that will be there. Just my .02

Nothing wrong with their shower. Only place I've ever showered where waffle stomping doesn't bring in more bugs.
-
I like AOP cause i can get a cabin. I left choco last time unsatisfied. They both have their merits.
-
I'm down for going to AOP.
-
AOP is one favorite parks. Wouldn’t be upset if we went there.

Sounds like a personal problem

So here is my last effort to get a park chosen.
I think the only other little tire we haven't heard from is @Grass Janitor
Im throwing my vote in for AOP. But again, down for what ever.
-
I'm headed to Morris as planned

I’m probably/most likely out anyway. We are in our busiest six or eight weeks of the year at work and I just can’t seem to get away. So don’t wait for me.
I am getting a “reassignment” of sorts though, which should free up my weekends a bit.
