I rode Sheikra today at Busch Gardens in Tampa. That thing is AWESOME. Its tied with Goliath at 6 Flags over GA for tallest coaster in the southeast. It features:
-200 foot 47° lift hill
-200 foot 90° drop
-145 foot tall Immelmann
-138 foot 81° drop
-floorless with "stadium" seating so everyone gets a full view of the drop
-70mph top speed

im a fan but what is "Immelmann"

I had too look it up earlier, those stats are loosely copy-and-pasted from some coaster sites. Its the loop on the far right of that picture. Its a loop that turns into a twist about half way through.

I went on sheikra when it first opened the first drop is cool then just a normal coaster

Man, I love me some coaster action. Regardless of whether or not Matt and his wife ends up going, I'll be at Six Flags sometime this year. We're looking at May. The girlyfriend is coming in from Colorado to visit and I'll have to show her a good time and make her realize what she's missing.
200 ft. sounds high, but when you ride acriphobia you cover that FAST!!!

x2. I hate most all rollercoaster but I loved that one for some reason

I think the SFX are awesome about that coaster. If it was outside it wouldnt be so cool. But I agree this is one of the cooler rides.

The Immelamann I know is a fighter plane tactic (maneuver) developed in WW1. I bet the coaster twists and turns in the exact same manner as the maneuver. If I am wrong please correct me. I have a thing for WW1,WW2 planes, tanks and such. ;D
I pulled a pic from wiki.

I think you're correct Larry, the loop on the far right of the picture in my post looks just like that picture you posted.
