No David. Got a crap ton of stuff to do. Between the house, yard and sub, I am free time less ;) a bit too hot for me to. I enjoy cold hunting. My 2 bucks last season have lasted to this season. Still have 2 backstraps and about 15lbs of ground. Goal is 5 this year. I want the freezer jam up!

Heard that... No top or doors here tonight and on way home from baseball practice my son asked me to turn on heat... Looks like a blast... Looking forward to catching some of it on Sunday... Nice pic of Krappen too... Is that after he crushed the cop car...

I don't think too many pictures/videos were taken but of the two vehicles that tried they didn't get past the first main section of holes/V-ditch.

Well the stock hub lock couldn't hold up. Had to replace one today.

Has anyone successfully gone through El P?
1 rig. A LCOG 4 cyl TJ on 38.5's from FL. Rather very nicely equipped if I don't say myself. I rode shotgun with him. He stayed out of the mud pit entirely by taking the high side (left side) of the ditch then crossing after the hole.

Sheriff asked for an extreme trail, he got it...it turned out much more "extreme" that I think we all had in mind.
The status:
First run on Saturday, 4 jeeps came to give it a try, two had to winch out multiple times in the first 100' and had to make a new exit area to get off the trail One broke a U Joint. The other two decided not to even give it a try...smart.
Second run of the day, two came to try and we found a jeep on 33's that somehow found the trail. He was stuck in the first ditch and would still be there if we didn't get him out. Suffered some body damage due to laying his side rear side panel and hard door into the side of the ditch. The Scrabler on 40's we brought downw broke his syn winch line three times, it took a second jeep to come down the side trial to pull him. he finally got past the hard stuff and finished the trail. Second guy from TNT in a stretched LCOG TJ on 38's made it without winching. He took the high line to the left and did some nice off camber driving.
No takers on Sunday.
There were a lot of well built rigs that either did not wheel at ll or only played on the obstacle course.
Next year we need to tone it down a touch.

No. Some were upset initially when we set the requirements but word quickly got out after the first run Saturday that is was a real "extreme" trail.

That dude with the grand wagoner lives in my neighborhood... It's a sick rig... I keep asking him when he is going to sell it to me... One of the coolest jeeps around...

Here's a video of my river run at the campground. We had a great time. I didn't try El Presidente. I'm glad though looking at the pics and hearing the stories. We went over to the GA Bounty runners trail ride Saturday. That was more challenging than Suk-it-in but still nothing difficult that we got to see. The land owner, Jaybird, said there were some nasty trails over there but we didn't get to ride them.

I ended up removing it for the Sunday ride. It got tweaked pretty good. I didn't think there would be any way the tire would bend that thing but it sure did. I am going to bend it back into shape and then hack off the corners for clearance. I am going to cut my fender flares as well. I should have done that a long time ago. My stock drive shaft finally gave out on Sunday afternoon. I had to remove it before I could get back on the road.

I saw it (and heard it) while you were making that turn before the big hill. In addition to the bumper and flares, you may have been touching the rock rails/pinch seem area. Your tire is only an inch away or so when not flexed, so it may be worth taking a look at it or even the sawzall to it. You can remove the plastic end cap, cut the rail, then pop it back it. The pinch seem could also cut into your tire if the tire gets stuffed into it.

I spoke to the Sherriff right before we left on Sunday. He said that he is not sure if they will have it in the same location because the owner of the property is looking to sell it.
