6 ac for sale out side of Blue Ridge Ga. Bank VP says I need to sell it. He "suggested" that I sell it for $36k....a little shy of the $81k I bought it for 4 years ago. Great secluded piece.

Post by: yellowxj on March 10, 2010, 09:10:33 PM: Its close to 5030 Murphy Highway, Mineral Bluff Ga. I'd say its less than 1/8 mile off the highway. Had a gravel road down the side of the property. Only one person has right of way past the property on the gravel road but there is no road on to his property and I've never seen him. Theres atleast a couple hundred undeveloped acres behind the property. Near my 4x4 shop. If you've driven from the ATL to Tellico you passed by the place before.

Its doesnt have its own street address yet.

Power is near by but not too the property. I think 2 poles will get it there. No well or septic on the property yet but the ground has been tested for a septic system and its good.

Pretty isolated feeling but your only 10 min to Blue Ridge or 15 to Murphy.

We sold our land and cabin off highway 60 a few years ago and my retirement in 2 years is a key role in this possible interest.

My explanation is that water would drive the price up a good deal but she is determined NOT to settle for just a deal but for what she deams perfect for retirement..... {boohoo}!

I tried my friend but she says no.
I am sending this link to some friends of mine that are much younger and interested in such a thing.

Now you have to leave a 50' buffer along trout streams and there are rules for other streams too. IIRC. Just saying check out the rules. Good hunting.

The wife is bumping up to her RN degree but will not be finished till next year so we have some time.
She will need to be within a certain distance to a town of size and Blue Ridge is a good spot.

Our old cabin and land was 2 miles from the lake and we kept our ski boat there so something along that line would be nice and I can make my own pond...AGAIN ::)...renting another loader...AGAIN >:(..but I will gitterdone!
