It's time for our biggest ride of the year!

Our annual Forest Service Ride thru North Georgia.

Last year we had 60+ rigs, and a great time. 

Time/Place:             8:35am DEPARTURE from Dahlonega Walmart.  There is only one.

Itinerary:                  Saturday – 8:30AM Short Drivers Meeting, Ride half day, Lunch on trail, Late lunch in Helen

- Arrive prepared for a full day on the trail with fuel, beverages, food, and whatever else you may need.

Trail Types - Fun for all - Forest Service Roads with River and Creek Crossings.


This is an open ride, and our Rig Requirements are not mandatory, but are preferred.  Please do try to comply in every way possible.

They were discussing it in another thread.

@Doug has the ride plan. I know we are riding for a few hours and we'll end up in Helean around 3ish maybe earlier. Also we are eating cold beer for lunch :)

I am slightly concerned about my tag being expired...I dunno.

I have yet to find a place that can hold us all or will take a reservation for us for dinner.  Sucks. Big season up there I guess, lots of people, all the big cabins were gone months ago.
Any help here is appreciated.
Unless I can find something, we will just mug a pub.

You can try Big Daddys.  They have a large covered/enclosed porch & good food.

To bad Margarita's isn't open. They have their own parking and one of the best Reuben's I have found. The Troll Tavern was great last time I ate there though.

X2 on Bigg Daddys, big porch, best food in Helen. Biggest beer selection too..
