What a really nice day.
Great people, great weather, great scenery, Nut in the mud...

We had a really good time.  Thanks so much to the hosts, to the kids for tiring out Jessi, and everybody for coming.

yea u got the first video of my jeep bein pulled out of a mudhole!!  and bad thing is that i've been thru it several times before!!!

On the way home my 8yr old kid said to me, Dad this is the coolest day ever! Im havin so much fun! Video games don't even get that kind of response out of him. I'm just glad they came with me and had a good time. We couldn't have asked for better weather or company either. Nice meeting all the new guys. Now if we could just get everyone that has came to all these forest service rides to show up at the same ride at the same time, we would have one heck of a crowd. Maybe we can get everyone together at the gatr annual event. Anyways, I enjoyed every minute of today. Thanks everyone! Here's the first video! Sorry that we did not get more shots of everyone in action, it would've been impossible to do so without being in front and waiting as everyone drove by. There was one gentleman who filmed us driving through the river at one point, I would like to see that footage!

Funny too ---- we stopped in Dahlonega on the way home, had dinner, and then I cranked Evenflow; I was still juiced from the day's ride.

it was an awesome day and a awesome ride!!!

my jeep was kinda lonely since it was the oldest one there and the only CJ....  lol!

two of my clubs members arent yet members on this site just yet, but should be joining soon.  the guy that was filming everyone crossing the river is my webmaster for my site.  he said he would have that vid edited and uploaded soon.  he also got 3 videos of Andys brother in the mud hole and already uploaded those as well as two panoramic shots of us at the meeting spot.

I think the real reason it is up there is the subject in the center of the picture.  My Jeep just happens to be in the back ground.

Just wanted to say thanks to the guys who organized and led this ride.  My fiancee and I enjoyed it, and my daughter got to experience her first bumpy ride.  We'll be sure to be out in the future for "Bring the kids" rides.  A little more lifted and sporting more aggressive tread on the old tires.

I'll post up my pics in the next couple of days.

The kids do make for a fresh perspective; pure joy.

I especially appreciated the little girl who volunteered to jump in the mud puddle to hook the strap to Nut's bumper --- and her wonderful mom who said it would be okay.  That's spirit!
He already had the strap hooked up front so it wasn't necessary.  But what a cool kid.

KOOL VIDEO!!!!!  i had a blast reliving my mudbath!!!!!!!  it only took 4 hours to get the mud outta everything. glad evrybody had fun. now u know part of the reason they call me NUT.  just ask ANDY or JIMMY. we had a great time again along with my friends that were riding with me. the guy drivin the bug was a friend of mine too that i had talked into coming just that morning at Mcdonalds.
