I plan to be there. Got to support my fellow LEO's and the kids and all. I can volunteer as needed, just give me a heads up. Would love to run some trail rides or something as long as I can run the trail before taking groups down them. PM if you need it.

Dawn does. She posted them on her FB. I tried loading some to here, but i kept getting errors so I just quit trying. This evening when I get home I'll try again though. I cant wait to see this video though.

Has there been a fnial decision on where everyon's going to be campinig during all this? We want to go a head and get a spot resurved, but don't want to end up some place where we have to drive to in order to get to our spot after hanging out in the evenings. We'd kinda like to be in the same general location as everyone else who's going.
as would I because I'm arriving sat. so it would be nice to have a idea of where to crash and where to go being I said I would help out

That climb was steep and the back side was Steep. We talked about making it wider just incase people need the extra room. There are several other pictures one page back

Just got done riding the hard level trail out of the 3Yeah that "hard" trail was actually prety easy. We did it the week before Harlan while helping to makr the trails and shooting the new promo vid. There was 1 spot 1/2 way up the hill which was kinda narrow, with a bit of a drop off on the drivers side, and then the decent at the end of the trail was a little steep with a huge wadie down the center. Other than that, it was pretty mellow going. Still fun none the less.

We had to cut a lot of brush and tree limbs yesterday..A few spots of the trail were almost closed off from brush but it is all open now. We didn't get to ride the other 2 trails ran out of time

The cool thing about these events is its not all about who has the biggest and baddest rig on the block. Its about people getting together who share a common interest and having a good time. So if you are running a bone stock rig, don't worry. There's plenty for everyone there.

Yes we will be on Cb's. We will need help with spotters and winch guys at the obstacle coarses. We will all meet up Saturday morning and put y'all in spots to help. Volunteers can work in shifts do you have time to play yourself.
I would love to attend this. hopefully i can go.This will be a great event to try some mild trails and play in the obstacle coarse

You'll want to get those disconnects on so you can disco before you hit the obstacle courses. It will help you out for sure.

Things to have for any basic ride: tow points, maybe a tow strap and good sense of humor. CB's, first aid, fire ext. all that other stuff we normally require really wont be much use at an event like this.
but no fire ext... so i will pick up a few things. im still a bit nervous on installing my JKS quick disconnets.Fire ext $8 -$15 at walmart.

Nice, so it appears I will be headed to cumming on sat. to get some schooling on installing a JKS quicker disconnect, hopefully i can get some more info to boost the already large grin on my face.
looking forward to seeing others at jeepfest. again, im still a newbe in the jeep/mood stuff, but im learning and i know i cant do what the big boy jeeps do with 37's and 6inch lifts,
at least i can look good in my jk with 33's. looking forward to learning HOW to off road and then maybe i can be smarter in changing my JK to meet what I want to accomplish.

Your level of experience or the number of mods on your Jeep don't matter. You will have a blast, learn lots and make new friends. There is something for everyone.;D
Been Jeeping for 25+ years and on my 7th Jeep vehicle I can assure you that everyone wants to make sure the new folks have a great time. Large amount of the socializing and hanging out is actually in the parking lot. Every one is crawling under and looking in all the rigs, seeing what's new and getting ideas for the next item on the To-Do list.

We're just going to show up and then check in. Not going to worry about printing anything as there was no instruction to do so from the Jeep Fest admin.

The crowd lit up which was really cool.
Night ride of 170 Jeeps. Wow.My wife & I stayed and did the night ride... Wow is right. Once we lost the police escort at the beginning of the trail, we moved right along at a rather surprising smooth pace. I don't know why on the road it took over an hour to get there ??? but the radio chatter was entertaining to say the least. I got back home to Gainesville @ 2:00 am! Skipped today but what an awesome time we had at that event. Definitely looking forward to next year.

Lockers allow you to run better and way more fun trails plus I think it is safer. You have more control.
