Title: looking for front

looking for -front HP dana 60 - but with coil no leafs-- if jsut housing thats fine-- ive got to change out every thing else anywasy----- and someone fix my electrial on my jeep!!!!

well i found one for $400- but i was hoping for a cheaper one-- so - should i go for the $400 one?

Yes. That would be a steal as long as it's a Driver Side drop. King pins would make it even better. Are you sure it's a
HP 60?

I already made that mistake once, would not happen again. Doesn't matter about coils or leafs, you are going to have to set everything up for your Jeep anyway.

Yeah, its a 60. I think its a LP though. The BOM number should be 610517 FYI.

The best Dana 60s are going to be from 78-79 or 85-91 F-250. These are HP, driver side drop, and have king pins.

You could get a D60 from a Dodge that is driver side drop, but those will be LP and have ball joints with the 94-01 have CAD.

Chevys also have D60s with king pins but those are LP and passenger side drop. So unless you go with a passenger side output transfer case like a D300, those aren't that desirable.

Only thing to watch out for is that the 85-91 F-250s also came with D50s which are D60 housings but with D44 R&P.

when ever u find the axle and get her striped down, ballistic fab has all the brackest to make the swap easy. comes with coil,link, and track bar. I think they run about $100 for the pair. But i got a frieand that has a set sitting in his shop, If ur interested i'll see what he wants for them.
