The sport of 4x4 & Off-Road racing has grown substantially in the past few years!! This will be a great opportunity to come out and support OUR local off-road community!
We need to know if anyone else wants to volunteer for this event. Tomorrow (6/29) is the last day to add names to our list. This means you will not be charged parking, entry fee, spectator fee, or camping. Even if you can only make it out one or two days it will still be a big help!
Thursday : 10am - 7pm = Setting up the race track / course setup
Friday : Vehicle Check-in & Tech Inspections
Friday Night : Open competition on the man made obstacle course
Saturday : ECORS Race - Crowd control & vehicle recovery
This will not be all work and no play, at the end of every day we will be meeting back at the cabin - BYOB </BEER/>
If you are looking at coming in for the ECORS event at Durhamtown, we highly suggest coming early! With Independence Day just a couple days before the ECORS race, Durhamtown has filled its entire week with various MX events, ATV races, freestyle shows, fireworks, and a concert! Make a vacation out of it! Durhamtown has great RV spots, camping spots, and even offers primitive and first class cabins for the week or weekend! If you get hungry, they have a restaurant on site. Need a mechanic or want to rent a bike or quad, they have the resources on staff all week!

Damn, I wish I could come out for this race and help, but it's just not going to happen. I met Roger King(I think that was his last name) who will be racing the Flat Biller Killer(#4677) for team Robby Bobby. After seeing how he drove that thing at Harlan, I would freaking love to see him drive it in a race!!
Edit: This should have been in the discussion thread, not the check in. Please move if necessary.
