The time has come.
1990 Grand Wagoneer for sale
White with maroon interior
256,000 miles on speedo
not perfect but quiet reliable
It was my daily driver for several years and then it sat for two years while I worked on the interior and took care of a few other things. It has been my daily driver for the past seven months.
Here are a few of the things I’ve been able to attend to over the past couple of years:
BJ’s prototype prerunner bumper with Smittybuilt XRC12 installed
both Dana 44s are protected by Great Lakes Offroad diff covers with diamond plating
rock sliders welded to the frame in place of rocker panels
BJ’s two inch spring lift
sits on 31X10 Baja Claws (need replacing)
new steering box
rebuilt radiator
new battery
front axle has newer hubs and Chevy ½ ton calipers
rear axle has been gone through completely: new drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, springs, seals, bearings and TruTrac locker
Magnaflow offroad muffler with diamond plating
rebuilt radiator
rust free gas tank skid plate
I am asking $3,500.
With this many miles, there are things that need to be addressed, but overall it is a great rig.

AMC 360/TF 727/NP229
I think the axles are 3.31s
I will get pictures of the interior ASAP.
I am driving it now since my wife's 04 TJ is acting up.
Here are some answers to some of the questions I've been asked on other forums:
I have no idea if the mileage on the odometer is accurate to the drivetrain or chassis. The engine pulls strong and does 70+ mph everyday. No knocks, pings or smoke. By no means am I implying it is in perfect shape. I've never opened it up because I have had no need to.
The transmission leaks. I've never bothered to measure the rate. When it slips out of Drive at the stop sign at the end of my street, I top off the transmission and it stops doing that for several months.
When I need four wheel drive, I flip the switch on my dash and I am driving around in 4HI. When I need 4LO, i put the transmission into Neutral and pull the Transfer Case lever and i am crawling in 4LO.
The bell just rang and my students are here so I have to go. I will post more details later.
Keep asking questions, it helps me remember stuff.

Other questions I've been asked:
I've never serviced the transfer case because I have had no need to. I cannot attest to its condition other than to say that whenever I need 4x4, I have it.
All of the lights work. All of the guages work. The rear window works from both the dash switch and the tailgate key switch. The heater works very well. It has A/C, but I have never attempted to get it operational.
You can view some videos of it in action on YouTube. Search my profile under my user name (Tejasol).

Just an FYI, my son jumped in it this morning and drove it from Acworth to Canton and then to Cartersville this morning and then back home to Acworth this afternoon.
There is great peace of mind when you can trust a rig to get your kids to where they need to be and back safely.

This thing has character.....I like it. I need to stop surfing the internet, too much cool stuff to buy. GLWS

Well, buy this rig and do your part to reduce the amount of stuff for sale on the internet! The internet community will thank you.
Ha!
Yes sir, it does have character and it is not easy for me to sell it. I hope somebody that appreciates it will continue what I have started.
I've got somebody scheduled to come look at it tomorrow afternoon. My son washed it and topped off the tank so they can drive home in style (I hope).
