Gonna head up to Beasley Saturday and anyone interested is welcome to join. Will have at least one other rig with me, an LJ on 33s. Will probably do most everything except 93B, looking to do a beginner/novice ride and haven’t been to Beasley in years. Should be nice and dry. We are meeting at 8am at the shell station at exit 7/Holcomb Br on 400 and should be to the trailhead around 10:00.

Possibly, I live 20 min from there

I will be there...
You going in from the Blairsville side correct?
-
Sam I can post it on our
Facebook page if you want
more people. It's totally up
to you. Not sure if any one
else would come or if the
flood gate would open....
lmao

The propane entrance or the other one?
-
I was planning on the Blairsville side, what I would consider the main entrance but I’ve never seen the other one.
If you want to post it to FB that’s fine, I have two others with me now though so we might already be to 5 rigs...so whatever you think.

I've only been in from the Blairsville side also.
Always heard there was another entrance but never saw it.
I might have 1 more Jeep coming also, so it might be a nice
little group.
-
The first entrance is less than a mile out of Blairsville on the right, just past the bypass and Wendys, Windy Hill Rd (it makes a big loop btw). The 2nd "Propane side" entrance is more like 3-4 miles outta town, on I think its call Rosemary Ln, then you climb about a mile up a dirt road to the entrance/pay area.

Satterfield Trailhead is what I’m thinking of. See y’all there at 10am.

Yes I go in the first one....past Wendy's.
Is there still a Waffle House right there also?

Looks like from the website the day permit has to be purchased at this gas station, I think they used to have a pay station at the trailhead:
Chevron
430A Young Harris Highway
Blairsville, GA 30512

They do not have them at the gas station. They have permits and a drop box at the trailhead. I was up there this summer.

They are the envelope style and you gotta have cash.

$5

How was it? Any pics?

20 min from
My house, invited by two different groups. Back issues kept me out ,I had to drink a couple of liquid muscle relaxers to manage the day.

Beautiful day to be in the mountains. Nothing crazy of course, but always good to get out and get a little dirty, and get some stock or stock-ish rigs out to the trails. Kevin and I did everything except B and G. My friends had to leave a little early and missed plain ol 93 which at least had a couple good/more challenging spots. Overall a great day in the woods with beautiful weather. Didn’t stop much since there aren’t really obstacles, but got some pics up on top of the ridge on 93C.
