Why not run a lunch box in the front to cut out a lot of cost?

First thing though, get the plastic beads out of the wheels and get some weights, also flip the tires.
Keep on wheeling it ;D

5. Make time to help new members with their builds or goals
6. Cage - ordered...hell yeah
7. Hydro assist - under research now
edit: 8. figure out a way to get in the driver seat of Larry's newly LS'd rig!
-
Well I'm still waiting for my rims. When I put the order in they said 6 to 8 weeks that was on 11-18-2012 then it changed to 1-14-2012 now there telling me 2-27-2013. Maybe I will have them in time for Jeep fest! I should have just got spacers. So my goal is to get Casper back on the road this year. I still need to find a locker for the Dana 30 and gears. So it looks like its going to be a while
-
Install the following most of which I have already or is in the mail.
5.3, th350, atlas 4sp, links with heims, tie cage to frame, stretch wheel base, weld up trusses, wire rock lights, install and set up coil overs, have fun taking off bead locks to new bead locks, ctm's, brake lines, limit straps, radiator, and any other odds and ends to complete the jeep. Decide to change welded air and spooled front to air locker to have more control with the t case.
Wire the garage for 230v for the air compressor and welder.
Wheel about once a month.

{eek} Do you have a goal date for all of this?
-
Modifications... Cage (same one as Tony) and a winch.
On the trails... I need to keep getting more comfortable off camber. I know that will lead to feeling more confident and taking better lines... I want to help out with some more trail fixes and recoveries, too...
Bring my son on some trips... And wheel every month...
-
I need to pull my transmission (leak) and transfer case (pops out of gear occasionally) before Moab.
Want to install 12V outlet in dash for GPS.
Might go full-hydro steering if a bargain on a valve pops up.
-
Find that damn vacuum leak and get the rig on the trails again.
Finish the cage and add some additional body / undercarriage armor

I should start the middle of this month. Just moved into my house so I gotta spend a few weeks painting and what not to get it right. The Atlas won't be until sometime in February so I would like to be done by the beginning of March depending on how life goes between now and then.
Forgot about high steer nuckles. Already have full hydro.
-
Jeep: skids(should be done within the week), rear arb locker, air tank, few interior upgrades, not sure what else right now.
Me: I have plenty to learn! I want to get better with lines, off camber, learn more from other drivers. I want to get out to at least 3 parks that Ive never been to, and wheel at least once a month.
-
I have a bunch, most of which are attainable, while others are little more than a pipe dream at this point.
1- get to 35's vs the 33's I'm running now.
2- Actually bite the bullet and get locked front and rear.
3- Finish getting better control arms all the way around.
4- Under belly armor.
5- Actually get my auxiliary lights working.
Pipe dream goals-
1- Find a good tow rig and trailer
We'll see I guess.

My goal is to wheel atleast 4 good trips. New baby on the way in less than 5 weeks now. I WILL make Harlan though. That is a pilgrimage, almost like Moab for me now :'(

I did.
1.Oil Pan skid is number one before I get any more rocks. The oil pan on the 4.8L hangs lowwwww.
2.Then I need a little more driveshaft clearance for the front exhaust, so I am going to lift the front .5-1", will go ahead with airshocks to do this, since I want to run them ultimately. Has to be done before I hit any rocks.
3.Suspension seats, cause my back hurts like hell after every ride, getting to old for this stuff
4. Tires are gonna need replaced, maybe before Harlan, if not this can move down the list.
5. I have alternate transportation in the garage, just need to pull the trans out of the old T-bird and rebuild. Just in case number 7 on the list doesnt go over well.
6. HARLEN
7. Enjoy myself for a bit. I cant and wont put a whole lot of cash in the jeep this year. Still recovering from the previous year :hlp

I have Fox 2.0 smoth body air shox for sale

If your tires are in decent shape, sell them while they are sellable. I always sell mine before they are considered junk. Helps with new tire fees ;D

I think I will once the car is running which should be soon. I have a tile job to do and that is gonna take care of the transmission.
The tires are in good shape for the street around 1/4" tread or more. Probably get another 15k out of them or more. These BFG have lasted along time. Just need more tread for the rocks.
I have Fox 2.0 smooth body air shox for sale
How long and how much
-
My goals are to get the 2 door built:
2.5 Rock Krawler Max Flex
Fox Shocks
35" GoodYear MTR Kevlar tires
Poison Spyder BFH trail stinger
Artec Truss system front and Rear Axle
I think that is a good start for the Year.
-
1. 35s'
2. Make Harlan

My goal is to just get it all put back together again and hopefully hit some trails at least once a month this year!
-
My Goals:
1. Wheel more, hopefully around once a month.
2. Address my bent up rear end so I can finally mount my spare again
3. Armor up underneath
4. Beef up and lock my front D30
5. Focus more on school, less on Jeeps </LMAO/> :hlp

2. Missed Windrock...see number 1
3. Done
4. Done, Hayden did the back half of Pritchitt Canyon and impressed a number of locals and cralwed a few lines at Gulches and Morris Mountain that I haven't' done.
5. I give myself a C on this. I have been active on the interweb but have not made it out to more than one members workday
6. Done
7. Not Done - made an executive decision and jumped on a used supercharger instead. Hydro Assist will be a 2014 goal. Already have some parts acquired.
8. Larry did not put the engine in but I did get to wheel it with the 4.0 up and down El Presidente on a jeepfest workday. Hell yeah!

1. 1/2 done
2. Actually added a small body lift for TT cause I had all sups lift. ( had no idea what I had at the time of the post )
3. Was on almost every ride ( short moab and Harlan )
4. Did a very good job on that. To the point of now Im gonna trailer it instead of drive it to events.
All in al I think I did pretty good with my goals. They were small but I have barely had the jeep for a year and I think its come a good ways from when I first bought it as well as my driving abilities. Look forward to more learning and new stuffs for the jeep in 2014.

My modest goals were to pull transmissions and transfer case on the buggy to fix problems. Didn't happen before Moab, and although both are pulled they haven't been re-installed. Transmission case was cracked so needed another. Stak TC was toast, so bought an Atlas. Both are waiting to be installed, hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
Still considering going full hydro some time or other, but it hasn't happened.
