I'll get $48 MORE this month from the gov. Thanks for your contributions. ;D Won't get for another couple of weeks though.

Glad I could help

mine was exactly 364.13 lighter then normal. Not to mention me getting short 5 hrs because Tuesday was my normal half day. How's that for a paid holiday :bs)
-
Mine stayed the same my check is tax free for my service to my country thanks guys ha ha I hate that u guys are getting jipped

I won't see mine for another week and a 1/2 but I know it's going to be quite a bit bigger. Thats only because I hit my 12 year mark this month which puts me in the next higher pay scale. BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing) also goes up slightly each year as well as base pay (I think this year it's like 1.2% or something like that). As well, every year service members get a clothing allowance which is "supposed" to go for replacement uniforms. Truth be told though, rarely does it ever actually go to that.

Have not got a check yet. Finally got a 3% raise in late Dec after 5 yrs of no raises but health insurance price increases. Now they have reduced retirement and with the new tax I am sure that raise will be gone as far as take home pay. Being a gov worker isn't always pretty unless your in DC and can vote for your own raise!

Kent, if I can talk you out of wasting $800 on a new front locker that will offset any increase in your payroll tax. {no}

My withholdings went up too. I guess the temporary payroll tax cut was the only part of the stimulus package that anyone liked. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
