Post up what kind of 4 wheeling conditions you feel comfortable in
Mud, Rocks, Forest Service Roads, Dirt Trails that might have v-Ditch's or off camber areas, etc.
Let's answer this question as in the way your rig sits now or will sit in the next 6 months
-
I prefer forest roads with mountain views and dirt trails with hillclimbs, ditches, river crossings etc as for how my jeep stands now.
-
</LMAO/> The kind that lets me drive home with out carnage!
-
I prefer dirt trails with v-ditch's and off camber areas, Rocks. Anything that I can stretch the suspension out
-
Trails of incline with large rocks that require picking the right lines as much as having flex and clearance.
-
I'm so new that I don't have a preference yet. But I would like 'em where I can drive home and go to work the following Monday without having to spend a fortune in parts and repairs.
-
I prefer a mix, kinda like a slow version of King of the Hammers.
-
Love crawling but man I use to love flying down trail 1 at tellico at stupid speeds! Hell I have considered selling the jeep and getting a SxS to do more of it

whatever doesnt involve mud. </LMAO/>
-
I try to stay out of the mud, but for the Rubicon I like rocks to whatever is fun. Now for the 1 ton with stickies, hammer down. I just dont prefer to flop, as I really like the paint color. 8==D

The way it sits now..............driveway crawling >:(
In the next month or so............rocks that test your driving skill without the off camber stuff.
-
I like rock crawling, rocky trails, slab rock, V ditches, off camber...I prefer slower crawling than heavy throttle stuff...but there is always a time and place for the skinny pedal(I miss Rev Limiter). I like the fun of picking lines and taking a trail that is demanding.
Love playing in rock gardens.
-
Rocks, all types, (I like them, but would also like some more experience on them), inclines, forest service roads, and a little mud ;D I'm with tcdawg on the slower crawling.
-
Extremely technical trails with Off camber, large rocks, numerous lines to choose from, tight spots... anything that would cause damage or injury... :smoke
-
Anything that gets me in the jeep and gives me some challenge </ROCKIN/>

likes = what Doug said
dislikes = mud or v notches
hope not to = flop again
-
don't care for the mud at all went the mud way when I was younger to costly and not a fan of being in a position to flip backward I love the rocky creek beds

Love rock crawling!
Love creek bed x-ing's
Love rock gardens
Anything technical with articulation! Not as big of a fan as Ben on the vertical stuff - The perfect trail to me was Creek Bed @ Mountainside! Very technical!!
Videos do no justice in either video

Great news!

Where was that Upper Ledge climb?
I like creek beds a lot... Gulches has a great one. I like ledges where you have to get the front tires on and then pull the backend up. Those are still the ones that I'm amazed our Jeeps can do.
I also really enjoy night rides... They take a fun trail and amp it up a couple notches.
-
Night rides are awesome! My favorite was Harlan riding with Todd (tazstoy)

Rocks, heck yeah.
Dirt trails and V-Ditches, sure.
Off Camber, fun to a point.
Service Roads, occasionally sure, can be fun.
Mud - NO THANKS, been there done that got the t-shirt about 30 years ago.
What else? One of the things I miss about Michigan......Sand Dunes.
-

I haven't heard anything lately about it.

I love rocks and hill climbs. Still learning lines, but really like looking at an obstacle that looks too hard, then looking back after I've conquered it
edit: also really like night rides. Best was as a passenger with tony at Gulches
-
Yep, Skip's night ride was great last year at Gulches...
-
So was that stash ha ha great time last year can't wait

DRY trails and rocks with no dust
:smoke

About all I'm doing right now is the 1/2 mile drive on what's left of an old dirt road to the back of the hunt'n land to cut firewood. I can get by with 2wd when it's dry, but now that the ground is saturated with water, 4wd is a necessity. I didn't go this past weekend because I didn't wanna make the ruts any deeper in the one spot on the trail....
