Any body have a set of stock JK springs they want to get out of the garage cheap to free? Let me know what you have.
-
Hey I do! I have all 4 from a stock JKU sport, I think its 18/58, I'd have to see when I get home.
-
ok let me know.
-
I have a set of soft JKU springs and next week ill have a set of jkr 18 59s available
-
I checked what I have its 17/58, you may want the JKR springs, but I'm ready to get rid of mine certainly.

How big is the difference between the 2? Height and stiffness wise. I am picking a free set up from an 2013 JKU this weekend. Not sure which numbers would be best for me. They are going in a TJ, to replace what I have now. I need taller than what I have, but not by much. A bit of experimenting on my part.
I currently run TJ Rubicon springs and spacers. My goal is to remove the spacers and gain about 1" of ride height. I read the JK springs are about 3" taller than TJ springs, but they dont say which springs (jk, jku, jkur). I will just swap around till I find something that works for me. I will see if I can get the numbers off the ones I am getting. I figured there would be a ton of guys throwing these things away after lifting.

Its not length of spring per-say, its stiffness. I've seen some discussion on google but I don't have the "soft" springs. My sport unlimited (2011) was pretty tall compared to the base model and also earlier year models, so I think you'll get a boost w/my springs, but JKR would be a little more as they are stiffer.

Gotcha, I have the V8 up front and tons of additional weight. Its easy enough to swap them out, if its to stiff I may change them to another number. Looks like its gonna be some trial and error. I will take some base measurements and see where it goes from there.

Matt, I have a set of JKU Rubicon front springs you can have. I still don't know what happened to the rears...

Thanks, are you going to be at Gulches? That will give me 2 to compare too. The front is the main issue at the moment.

Those are also 17's (front). The stiffest ones sold are 18/59 (front/rear), so those ride the highest, but 17/58 from a JKU is probably gonna do the trick. I am in Suwanee just off of GA20 and James Burgess Rd, you want to grab mine, I'd love to get them out of the garage.
