Title: WVO wast veggie oil
Post by: mrmike1964 on June 25, 2013, 01:09:59 PM
I'm in need of some used cooking oil. If you have any please let me know. I will pay for it. I will be glad to take any amount. It's time to start filling the tanks on the bus.

I'm in north Ga Dahlonega. I need about 600 to 700gal. Where and how much do you have? If its clean I can pump it right in the bus if not I would just have to clean it while I put it in. I'll take any amount I can get. Id like to take the bus to MOAB next year and tow a couple jeeps. I'm hoping to fine enough WVO to fill the bus.

Off 400 behind Chestatee ford but I'm about to build a new house off Claud parks rd. I thought that was your house when you said bus. That thing runs on WVO? Sweet!

He said he doesn't have enough used for you to make it worth the trip. He is only open thur through sat so he isn't changing out very often.

Good luck on it.

Thanks anyway ;D. There's a couple places around here that gave it to me a couple years ago. I'll have to see if I can hit them up.

If anyone has some please let me know. I'd be willing to pay for it if I had to.

I'm not sure. I have heard of it being added to diesel fuel. I'll have to do some reading to see if you can run a diesel on just oil.

Chick fila has the best of anyone. There oil is clean and smells the best. I have a International 444 it's the same thing as the ford 7.3 I have put a little over 8500miles running it with just WVO. I just need to ask around. I just thought maybe there was someone here that may have some they would let me get from them. I have a 200gal tank I can run around town with and get it I just don't have a pickup truck anymore. Once I get the bump steering fixed on Casper I can tow the tank on a trailer and get it.

We have a restaurant in a building we own but I'm pretty sure they have a grease collection truck come and get the 55 gal drums.

No it doesn't mater if its mixed or not. I'll run all of it though a centrifuge before I put it in the bus.
Thanks

Let me know if you have plans to be in or near Tucker(where I work) or Marietta/kennesaw(where I live). I'll hook you up.
