//:hlp//. Hey guys. Looking for a little help. I am planning a ride for some buddies and I this Saturday and looking for a great place to go near Carrollton ga 30117. Still really looking for rivers or creeks but any great trails would be awesome. Just looking for something we could ride and enjoy all day and maybe have a fire that night. But still close enough that we could make a drive back same night. Some of the guys won't be able to stay. And suggestions greatly appreciated.

Alabama has a good park called Morris Mountain. Your not going to find and legal Offroad areas beside parks or Forest Service roads up in the Mountains. But once again Georgia Trail Riders does not approve of wheeling anywhere that is illegal.

You aren't far from Choccolocco in Jacksonville, Alabama

Good call on Chocco.

If you end up going to any of these parks do yourself a favor and get a map. So you know what level trail is what.

I live in Carrollton. Have the red doorless Jeep XJ with a GATR windshield banner lol... What do you drive? I'll ride Chocco with you. Text me, Will, 770-363-0721

I would hit Morris mountain over chocco, but just my opinion. Plus I think it is a little closer.

It's just about the same difference from Carrollton. I've never been to Morris but would love to go there

Either one, I'm game. Now that I put on 33's, I want to go back to Chocco and tackle the hill I got stuck on.

Lets go. If it's dry, no problem.

Keep in mind, Morris is not open every weekend. I know they are open the weekend of Aug 9, so good chance they may be closed to public this weekend. Need to call find out.
With that said both are great parks, especially if it's dry. I think Morris has more bypasses/options at the major obstacles so that stock to well modified can ride together.

Thanks I definitiley appreciate all the input. I haven't been to either. But I'm leaning towards Chocco. If anyone else is interested in going just let me know.
