Dave, I'm interested, but let me validate the depth of the SOLID cover.   I was planning to weld two covers together (after a hack job), but it appears the SOLID cover may meet my needs, if what I read on the Internet is accurate (how could it not be!).  My Jeep is down at the moment, but I'll make a trip up to Jasper to get that thing if the SOLID cover doesn't work out.

Dave,

I'm going to pass on the factory diff cover.  I found a heavy duty diff cover that appears to be better suited (i.e., less deep) than two factory covers welded together.

Don't blame you.

Do you have a link?

I'm not locked into this one for the rear diff unless everything else I try fails (you'll see why, if you click the link):  http://shop.cranehiclearance.com/product.sc?productId=6&categoryId=3

I'm still waiting on feedback from Solid, but from the Internet:  http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/low-clearance-8-8-diff-covers-659592/
