Well, I have a surprise meeting with my President and VP on Thursday - 1 of 2 things can happen, either I'm coming back to GA or I'm being let go!

Let's hope the former, good luck!

In my experience, the Prez/VP are not the ones who tell people face to face they're being laid off.

In most cases you would be correct but, I answer directly to both of these individuals and there is nobody in between us.

Good luck.  If you were getting fired you would already know for sure.  You are too valuable to them.
Now Haken, that's another story lol

Doesn't look like I will be coming back to GA any time soon, unless I find a new job there. I'm good hear through the end of February and then it's either California, Canada or back to Florida.

Do you have your choice from the 3 you listed?

It would depend on several things, but probably not lol. first we still have to bid the projects and win them. so if we had all 3 projects and they all started in March I might be able to pick the one I want. But even then, it would depend on the size of the project. I typically get put on the larger projects, so if they were all around the same value I could probably pick one. If it all plays out like they plan I will more than likely end up back in Florida. It's a huge project that would keep me down there for several years. The project itself is over 200 miles long, it will run from Orlando down to Miami.

But then again, I was contacted by a headhunter yesterday and there is a company looking for a project manager to work in Denver, CO. It's a seven year project..........
