No barriers, no safety switch for shut off by officials and then detain the driver on suspicion for manslaughter!

I was gonna say something similar. It's Mexico, if you expect safety, you are thinking about the wrong country.

Dang. I was just seeing on the news earlier where a NC state fair carnie got arrested. I don't know the name of the ride, but it was one of those that go all kind of different ways. The safety switch was bypassed. As riders were getting off he accidentally hit a control and it started going. I believe they said around 5(3 critically) were injured, and some riders got thrown from 20-30 ft in the air. I've never liked fair rides after seeing how fast they put them together, and the people operating them. Its sad to know that people will put others safety at jeopardy  to make a quick buck. These people running these things want to rush and get as many riders as they can, so they can see more money coming in. I understand they are "freak accidents", but most of the time safety procedures aren't followed.
