It isn't like they are replacing the Wrangler with that thing, so for its segment, I like it.  I also like the Grand Cherokee (a lot) and, to a lesser degree, I like the Cherokee.   I like mud and turtles, too.

I don't mind it.......

After driving my TJ almost everyday for the better part of
6 years I needed something better on gas. So I bought a
new 2011 Patriot. Why.....because I wanted something good
on gas, dependable, had some room, and was 4 wheel drive.
There was not very many choice's to pick from. I knew it would
never be any type of off road vehicle but for the rare times we
get snow (until recently) it will go anywhere!!

So yes it may seem stupid or silly but there is a market for those
type of little SUV's and if you do want 4 wheel drive then why
not go with Jeep?

Its about profits. They are going to do whatever else, even if that requires the wrangler going ifs.

The people who wheel rigs are the 1%. That's not who they target. We dont count in the grand scheme of things.
