Somewhere between here and TN I lost a caliper bolt and the first time I hit the brakes getting off the highway the drivers front locked up. I'm dead in the water.
-
Wish I wasn't out of town, otherwise I could be over there in no time.
-
That's sucks. Do you have AAA
-
Nope

When in trouble post your number so we can reach you faster.
Did the caliper wedge against the wheel? Why did it lock up? Mine grabbed the stick on wheel weights, jammed, and busted the wheel. Don't force it.

That's good

He posted on FB that someone brought him a spare caliper bolt. He's back up and running.
-
That's good I'm glad his ok

Good news. The front JK caliper bolts take a lot of torque, 120 ft/lbs. the rears are less, 55 ft lbs.
These are good bolts to check on occasion. Mine are in w loctite as I have a caliper drop like Matt, not fun.
