Title: Jerry can truck mount
Post by: Darkhorseman11 on March 17, 2014, 12:51:24 PM
Hi guys, my name is Alex and I have a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado regular cab shortbed with a Leer camper shell and stock just about everything else. I am looking into purchasing a Jerry can for extra fuel storage but am not sure of a way to attach it to the truck. The body is in good condition so I won't do any drilling or mounting to the body but was curious if anyone found a way around this dilemma. I still need full access to the bed so the tailgate and camper lid need to clear to open. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Look for a bumper with a swing out holder.  Something similar to this:

Something like Clark posted or mount it in the bed. You Shouldn't have to worry about fumes back there. Even right against the back of the cab would work and be out of the way
