Title: If anyone is going to the rock racing event at Chocco come join me
Post by: PyratM on July 18, 2014, 08:30:41 AM: Me and some friends are camping out tonight and Saturday. We will be up in the primative camping area on the hill behind the zip line on the left hand side when you come in. Come on up and have a beer on me.

I'm not going to ride, I'm going to watch the race.

If you're looking to go to ride the park is going to be slam full of people.

Post by: PyratM on July 18, 2014, 12:25:00 PM: I'll be doing both since I'm there all weekend. I rode when they had the last race and it wasn't too bad. Plus I just like mingling with people out on the trails. This will also be the first time trailering with the Jeep. I'm bringing the Maverick over there with me to try out the new wheel and tire setup.

Post by: PyratM on July 22, 2014, 10:16:32 AM: Man that sucks to hear. Glad you made it back. I didn't have the most smooth trip back either. My buddy had a blowout on his trailer and I had to sit with it for an hour while he went to get another tire. Then coming through downtown Cartersville someone pulled out in front of him. He had a real lightweight trailer so had no problems stopping, me...... not so much. I rocked his trailers world. Needless to say we are welding up a new back gate for it and I had to buy him a new hitch and jack. It didn't do anything to the Jeep : ) Other than that it pulled decently well.

Post by: kvom on July 22, 2014, 11:27:33 AM: Maybe your friend will spring for a spare trailer tire too. I've had 4-5 trailer blowouts over the years, usually in inconvenient spots.
