Title: Mig Welder

Looking for a new Mig welder. If anyone is selling one or wanting to get rid of one to upgrade let me know. Not sure if I will have the patience to wait until black friday to buy a new one.

I used to do some welding when I was a heavy equipment mechanic but mostly using arc welders.  I might sign up for a welding class this winter.

What size mig are you after? New or used? We have a Miller 211 at work going for $1,183.00 with the 3 year warranty. The new Lincoln Multi Welder is out there on the interwebs for $999. It is a jack of all trades welder featuring Mig/Stick/TIG/Flux not sure how good it is.

 I have had my Lincoln 125 mig for close to 18 years. I have been pining after a Miller 150 stick welder because it weights 13 lbs and runs off 120. but I don't really have a steady need.

220 or 110v. The hobart 140 can supposedly do 1/4" off of 110, but my garage is wired for 220 so either one is fine. New or used. I wish I could afford the 211 it is just out of my price range. I wish I could afford a Miller 252 or Hobart 230 Ironman but I know that won't happen either.

Just testing the waters to see what is out there.
I am displeased with the supposedly best Lincoln welder on the market we have at work. It is similar to that one in that it will do all 3 but it is an everloving pain in the ass to set up and was much more expensive. It is too smart for its own good compared to a miller or even a buzzbox you can dial in much easier.

I might part with mine, as it's been sitting unused for a while.  220v Lincoln 175HD (version from Home Depot).

Should be worth $350.  Gas bottle or cart not included, but has an almost full spool of wire.

I've been thinking about getting a TIG welder since my hobby needs tend in that direction.

How long are the leads on it?

TIG is hard. I can stick stainless together but it isn't as pretty as I like.
