looking for opinions on a pole/stick extension mount for the GoPro.
Richard had one at GaTRFest, @Oscar_Mike 2013 , and it reminded me that I have been wanting to pick one up but had been putting it off because there were a number of them out there at prices from $20 to $80.
What do you GoPro guys use?

When I was researching one the price tag of more than $30 was difficult for me to comprehend. It is a pole.
I am planning on using a telescoping paint roller from HD or Lowes and then using a bike mount on the end for the go pro for a total cost of roughly $20.
He wants to talk aboout the go pro lol

I used a mono pod I had for my canon. Here at home, I use a telescoping aluminum paint pole to reduce weight when fully extended. And the pole, bar, bike mount from GoPro.
