I was thinking about taking my girlfriend out on some forest service roads this Sunday since the weather is cool and leaves are changing, I was wanting to go back down some of the roads we went on during the Nov Thanksgiving ride last year because it was a fun easy afternoon. I have found the coordinates for the swinging bridge and was wanting to find the field we stopped in that had the small trail that needed 4wd. Kirk took us up 6-7 jeeps at a time because it was so small. I am drawing a blank on the name of the area or the FS road it was off of. Anyone able to help jog my memory? Thanks in advance!!

I think it used to have a fire lookout tower and maybe a helipad. I could be confusing it with another spot.

Someone said it's where the rangers do drills that live in Dahlonega so I wouldn't surprised if they use it as a helipad. I just need a name or a road so I can get coordinates.
