Allsouth... always.
Yep, I have a friend that had a shop build a Chevy V8 TJ for him about 12 years ago. It has been a nightmare for him since. He wanted some suspension work done and asked me where to take it. I told him emphatically DON'T TAKE IT ANY PLACE BUT ALLSOUTH. He im'd me yesterday saying he took it to Fortec and what I knew about them. I told him he was a dumbass and didn't listen to me. Fortec does bolt on mods for soccer moms and probably doesn't know shit about a custom rig. He said "AllSouth was too far". I told him they would have picked it up for him.
AllSouth should be on the lookout for a V8 TJ coming their way after Fortec screws it up.

You'll never hear Allsouth bad mouth another shop, at least I have not in 7 years.
I've been there and witnessed customers come in that had their jeep lifted and built at another shop and had major issues. One recently. They were professionals about it.

What was the issue?
The stator ring assembly on the E-locker was causing the locker to engage, this is why it would happen even with the locker unplugged. We disassembled the gears, pulled the stator, cleaned it, installed new carrier bearings, and filled it with synthetic fluid. We've checked it for the last couple of mornings and it has been good.
Definitely never seen anything like that before. Kent's just keeping us on our toes

Yeah, that stator ring thing was going to be next suggested thing to investigate.
Nah, I had to Google it to know what it was!
Good job figuring that one out...What a pain.
