Great advice.  I ran out of chapstick.  It can be brutal. I recommend chapstick with a high sunscreen rating.

Thanks for the info on KoH.  I've been busier than a cat trying to cover up sh-t on a hot tin roof.  This fall I jokingly told my LA complaining relatives to sell their over priced homes and get out of California.  To my suprise they ALL took my advice, but want me to join them.  Now I have to prepare and sell my place and move to Coeur D Alene, Idaho.  Not sure how this Georgia boy is going to fare in the ID winter.  Sage advice in the article.  It snowed in Johnson Valley last week.  Even if it is cold there you will sunburn like a lobster.  Looked for pic's of the snow but wife deleted the emails.  Attached a pic from yesterday.  Ignore dog but in the background you can see the lakebed where everyone camps and a lot of the race course.  I have three close friends with second homes in Johnson Valley up by Rock Corral.  From their homes you can see we have a great view of the valley.  According to how things go here I hope to make KoH next month.

Firmed it up today.  I will be there Wednesday - Sat.  5th wheel toy hauler and dually on the lake bed.   

Who else is going to be there?  My phone goes dead out there,  we need a predetermined time and place to meet up. 

Jeff Allsouth should be going again,  need to confirm.

We might have an extra bunk in the toy hauler.

Sherry and I will be there Monday and Tuesday only. Watch the shoot out Monday night and hopefully pick up my on Tuesday and head back home. Maybe I stay Thursday and Friday instead.......
