Shocker. With Larry's fight against cancer, there are a lot of things at play here. If it's good for them, fantastic.

Wow!

People usually put life in perspective when struck with an illness. They realize money ain't everything. Hope all parties find peace in this & their product stays true to what it always has been.

I was shocked when Clifton did the same back in 09 & he was in good health. Not real surprised Larry sold it.

When he sold, weren't they underperforming though? Larry has the company at a very high point now.

I am glad I have all the PSC I want now. I hope quality doesn't change for the sake of the name. I know he says it won't but when your not the owner and sales quantity demands product faster they out source the labor.

They'll be building bumpers in China in 2 years... sellout
-
^^ same thoughts.
-
Wow, guess it's time to stock up on current inventory.
Sad day for the small (mid) biz, I like to support them when I can.
-
Hopefully, with Larry staying on as the president of the company it will retain its status. If he steps down, that's when it will go down hill.
-
Great for Larry and his family, bad for the brand. PSC being sold by the same company that brings illustrious products like Rubicon Express and ProComp.
-
Good for Larry! Hope he made a fortune and got 7x ebita.
If it changes and there is a void in the market, others will fill it.
-
I hope he made a fortune on the deal.

I was thinking today... what the people that ran out and got a Poison Spyder logo tattooed on their arm, leg, back head.... I wonder how they feel now?

Then they get what they deserve. How much of a fanboy can someone be to get a logo tattooed on their body?

I think Clifton was behind on paying taxes.

Yep...been there, done that. I can't get rid of my, "'N Sync For Life" tat without major expense, pain, and some scarring. The good news is that it is somewhere most people don't see.
Live and learn.
