Those are cool. Look like a set of brass knuckles (in aluminum)...
-
Any possible way in a flop or roll to hit your head on that?
-
My bald head would be a magnet for that

Or an auto accident

Cancel and get the open design. There is no way you can grab those in a hurry. But then again I have a phobia about sticking my left hand in stuff like that. I've seen people not get their ring finger back.
-
Cool looking...on your jeep.

There nice looking but I agree open hand is better.keep your ring finger lol

Unless Doug leans so far forward to almost kiss the steering wheel u won't get hit by it

its not ment to hold while you wheel. its to assist getting in, out and, its actually inside the jeep.

Kent I've been in a flop and have also
hit my head on the window just from
the jerking from rock crawling....with
out a 4 pt harness I think it's a legit
concern
-
maybe lets wait till you actually see them installed on my rig, before we pass judgement. is what im saying. i guess im expecting too much. :(
-
Those handles do look pretty cool and I like the design. I'm curious to see how well they work for you. Would you post some feedback after you use them?

I plan to Jim. thanks

It looks like a lot of leverage on one point, but that could be a misunderstanding of the connection.

There are two connection points
-
these things are strong, they attach at the top bar area nxt to the visor, and then on the upper most bolt on the side. very secure.

based on where they are, not sure i could hit my head if im wearing my seat belt (i tried leaning forward, and the only way my head touches it is if my seat belt if off, and i have to leave the seat grab the wheel and pull where my chin is past the steering wheel...),
its really out of the way, you have to set in the rig to get the full impression, casue in the pic they appear much closer than they really are. but here are a few pics.
