500 thousand? Trade in better than blue book or paid to get fixed?

It was ZJ grand cherokee's, IIRC. Supposedly could get rear ended and blow up. I don't remember what was done to fix it.

WJ, 99-04 Grand Cherokee
I think they add a skid plate &  or trailer hitch but don't quote me.
