Not much jeep related stuff, but a couple of things I asked for.

One cool thing that wasn't on the list is a beanie with leds on it.

It has both an AC and cigarette lighter charging adaptors. Seems pretty bright, we'll see how well it works. I got tired of having to change light bulbs in my drop light every time it got dropped. Kinda the wrong name for it if you ask me...

I got plane tix to Sema. Thought that was a pretty thoughtful gift, considering it's from my mother in law!

Yes - I wiped each area with brake parts cleaner and the adhesive is super sticky.

Scuffed them with a scotch-brite pad and wiped them down with acetone.

Taping these up is a MAJOR PITA.  All I can say is use the thinnest tape and have sharp Xacto knives.

Put 3 coats of Ford Red engine enamel on them

(http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t314/BigMikeATL/Forums/20151229_114133_zpswgwtbkxc.jpg) (http://s163.photobucket.com/user/BigMikeATL/media/Forums/20151229_114133_zpswgwtbkxc.jpg.html)

Start the peeling process - another PITA

Finished product.  There were a few lines that weren't that great after peeling the tape so I touched those up with Rustoleum Gloss Black and a little brush.

Which one did you get?

One from here, http://weldtables.com (http://weldtables.com)
I've heard they build to order, so it might take some time.
Also, kinda new to the game...
Thicker would of been better, but for the small projects I do should be fine

Yeah, mine is 1/2" steel plate that is 4' x 4'.  I welded the top to 2" (3/16") square tube with 2" (again, 3/16") angle iron supports along the bottom, and 4 big ass casters...it is freaking heavy as hell...and it was very expensive!  IF I had it to do over again, I don't know that I would do what I did; I nearly lost a limb just getting the plate out of the bed of the truck...I shouldn't have done it alone.

Those slots should be awesome for blocking out and squaring your projects.  If you don't already have them, get a lot of clamps of various sizes.  I also use the magnetic angle pieces (usually red and look like arrows with the point missing) a lot...very nice to have around.

Good luck...be sure to post up some of your creations.

It should be decent.  I didn't want to go the whole 1/2' or larger plate route, but things might change. I need to build another work table soon, might do something like that as well.  This just seemed to be a good medium route and not a bunch of $$$$.

Yeah, I can't remember what I'm in, but I think the casters were like $30 each.
