I know it's a long shot, but my frugal-ness is causing me heartburn about the price of an air/oil separator I need to order.
I usually get discount codes from them at expo/events in their grab bags. Anyone got anything?

I don't at this time but I have an email in to Summit with a higher up person about CFR. Let me see if they respond. I will find out if they have anything

Thanks!

My brother in law knows the manager of the atlanta one.

Disregard- I went ahead and ordered. I have $146 catch can on the way.

What kind of catch can?

@Mortalis5509
For the PCV. I never really cared too much about the oil being introduced into the intake from the PCV. A week or so ago I finally took off my intake to fix my vacuum leak and realized how much oil was actually making it into the intake and into the combustion chamber.
This is the one I got:

Pricey little guys. I started to see what I could do to build one myself but after I added up about $35 in parts plus my time and the fact that it would have looked like a hack job I just decided to buy one.

I'll need to look into that as well.
What about the steam vents: http://www.crracing.com/ls-steam-vent-cr-racing-steam-vent-kit#

I have the factory steam port lines plumbed back to the water pump. No problems bleeding air out of the system or overheating.
In fact, I just swapped a factory 186* t-stat back in since the engine was running too cold. Had a 160 in there.
