Awesome! I was looking at the manual system from EVO but I'm gonna do this instead. Can't wait.
-
Can't you just get the anti rock and be done with it?

This had been around for years and I like this better. I had the manual on my tj.
A low rate sway bar is better than no sway bar like the antirock. This one switches from road to trail and back.

So your saying an AntiRock is better than a disconnected swaybar? I thought I saw a test where they did that and showed the antirock caused a loss of flex?
Unfortunately, I didn't do a comparison when I switched over, but I will tell you that I felt significantly more stable with the AR at Golden than I did without. Also, I couldn't notice less flex than before.

That is the theory...AR is better than a completely disconnected swaybar. As Doug posted, there are other options out there. I think the Teraflex one is pretty nifty, too.
Currie has a video that describes it, their development process, and some other stuff, too.

Yes a light sway is better than no sway. Controlled movement, smooth but can reduce flex for extreme flex rigs.

No issues here with AR and flex.

^you have struts, you don't need a swaybar.

True, but if the anti rock limited flex wouldn't it still impact a rig with struts?

UH...maybe when properly setup :) Mine would be questionable on the road right now.

I think you would have to flex the jeep and then disconnect the AR and flex it in the same manner and see if there's a difference. The struts are designed to self level as is the swaybar, for some reason I feel like they could be going against each other in certain situations.
The AR can definitely limit the flex of the strut if the travel stops before the strut fully extends, which I know is obvious.
I'm not saying any of this is going on,bit would just be interesting to test.

How would you know if you're not missing an inch? You've never run it without it.
1" is the difference between ooh and aahhhh lol.

There is a difference in flex and useable flex. I speak for the tj, but the a rock is designed to work in tadom with the rear sway bar. It's all relative to the bar spline count and active diameter. Becuase it can flex, doesn't mean there is any weight on that tire. If there is no force upon the tire, it doesn't help a whole lot.
I'm going to use the pac sway bar which is kinda like the antirock.
Air or whatever is just more stuff to break. What if it breaks disconnected and you need to get on the rode. It's still drive able but moves more.

This is very interesting to me I just put a anti on my tj and have yet to get out and see the performance yet now I'm curious if it will hinder me

It will. Sorry you wasted your money. Sell it to me for half price! //popcorn//

Course it does. When you come off a rock your suspension will drop out slower and the rig will move that way controlled and probably not get to the complete droop you are capable of but this is better than being completely loose. You should still have full flex when shop tested if it is set up correctly.
