Title: Jeep Recall Warranty work
Post by: Blue J on May 09, 2016, 02:35:14 PM
I finally made an appointment to get the recall electric window/power mirror defect fixed. The Service Rep tried to hard sell me an all inclusive Tune up $1k Plugs/Injectors Diffs and Transfer case. I had to tell him I do all my own work to get him to shut up...I do the diffs and plan to do the transfer case fluid change, but how much does it normally cost to have plugs replaced these days?

depending on the vehicle it can be several hundred dollars. I wouldn't think a JKU would be that much unless the plugs are iridium. If they are the plugs themselves are over $60. for the set.

The HEMI requires the plugs be changed every 32k miles.  I've done it twice on my wife's WK2.  All 16 plugs are $75 from NAPA.  Takes about an hour and none of them are difficult to get to.  Dealer wanted $395.
