Post by: Metro on August 04, 2016, 01:13:30 PM: Rather than just replace my failing steering gearbox, I decided to take the advice of @Raisinhead and @tcdawg and upgrade to Hydro Assist. I decided to go with the Redneck Ram from West Texas Offroad. I'll have about $750 in it by the time I get the tabs welded on. I have it kind of rigged on the axle side until I can get and RK track bar mount and get the tabs welded. I took the flap disk to my RK tie rod and got rid of the the rest of the paint that was hanging on. Looks much better in raw aluminum.
