What are they? I have been on the Google all morning and searched here but no luck. Full coverage of tire or what? Lets say I am looking at some that are small than stock and flat.

You should be fine. I know GA is probably the most tolerant to all off road vehicle laws. I have never had anything said about mine. I have no flares.

-
ahhhhh, thasts why you have crazy spray behind your car...  [hammer]

 lol
-
Have you seen my jeep nln.  I think that almost my entire tire sticks out based the body.  You will be fine.

-
haha true and I think Jimmy runs his XJ with no flares. Just checking. Its all in the plans.

Yup.  I have half the tire sticking out in the rear and almost 3/4s in the front. I've never had any problems from cops, but I do get a sweet rooster tail-esque thing going on in the rain.

there's nothing in the GA laws that addresses flares or tires prodruding from the body.

the only time i ever stopped anyone because of it was one careless idiiot in a Chevy 1500. More or less it was "Too Fast For Conditions". the driver was the root of the problem anyway, not the fact that the tires were really not covered by the boday at all.

Thanks! I was waiting for you to post on this one. Always nice to hear it coming from the source. I know people run fender less but people also run red lights but that doesn't make it legal.

Hmmm, sounds interesting. Are they top secret?

I drove around alpharetta with no flares on my TJ for about 3 weeks.

Got some looks and absolutely NO coverage but never got pulled over, got some weird looks from jealous drivers of Hondas ;)

haha I wish! Nope no secret here. I have always like the Xenon flats but they had an issue with sagging. THey say its been corrected now. I dont plan to buy right away but I do plan to go with flats one day and I was curious on this law.
