I have the bia 37s w/o beadlocks.  Stiffer sidewall than the radial.  Tires are noisy but Jeep is louder.

Exactly.  Are your current wheels 17"?  Mount them and get beadlocks when you can.  Is there some reason you feel like you need beadlocks with these tires?

It was changed due to some online ordering issues and people having to call in.  Sounds like the deal was more popular than expected and may have shortened the deadline.  IMO

Kent
I'm running the 37" Pit Bulls. Love them. They kill it in the rocks and the dirt.

For the big, heavy lug pattern they are surprisingly smooth on the road. I don't DD mine but easily could.

No, 6 CST.  Already over.

I hope Pitbull charges everyone who ordered 50 tires shipping.  There's a good deal and then there's greedy.

Pretty much.  Now I get to hold on to these and buy a second set of beadlocks for my stickies.

Can I run the PB's when you're running the stickies?  We do have the same wheels!

I would, need to get a quote from @Danny Kinder on some beedlocks/install/balance.   just blew my wad for xmas on these, was wanting to bump my springs up to the 3.5 from 2.5 and well, im afraid the wheels for these new tires will just kill me.   dont have the $$ yet, ...

I guess i could always use the AllSouth payment plan?  Hmmmmm

Kent I had mine mounted on my old wheels but
then bought the beadlocks so they never hit the
road. I would mount yours and run em.
Just probably wouldn't air down under 10lbs.

thats a thought, several of my wheels are pretty beat up, large chips out of the side etc...  i really did'nt want to mount them on these crappy wheels  and by crappy i mean they have large chunks etcll out which makes me feel uneasy...   hence why i was wanting to wait till i got the beedlocks..

but i had thought about it , thanks Kevin.   im getting more and more excited.   just figure this has made my .. "Im done" list.   a bit longer.  im also thinking at somepoint, hydro...   i dont know.    i need to play the lotto more i guess...

I doubt that is the mounted price. 1 hour shop rate is normal for mount and balance beadlocks. We could mount them in your driveway and then just pay allsouth to balance them. That's the beauty of beadlocks. You don't have to have a machine to mount them. Just a good torque wrench and some patients.

Don't.  A caveman could do it.  There's nothing to learn that's worth mounting 6 beadlocks.
Not all cavemen know that to check bolt tq that you need 0 psi to do so.

I did one on Tuesday night...not terrible, done one at a time.  I used a drill with a clutch to get the bolts down, then I did the round and round and round with the torque wrench.

If you're going to do it yourself, it makes it a lot easier if you make a cardboard cut out ring to go around the bolts and number them with the tightening sequence, which is the cross, 90, cross method.

I also have a cardboard cutdown to paint my steel rings.  Can't handle the aluminum gouging that i got with aluminum rings.

I criss cross with an impact until they are descent and then use a torque wrench.

For all of you who have AL, use the sliver anti seize on all the bolts. Keeps them from making it where they don't come out. The set on the tj, PO didn't do that. I had bolts smoking with an air impact. Broke a few bolt heads off. Beat a few with a dead blow and the bit to get them loose to start with. That's after 24 hour of pb blaster soaking.

I just took a paint marker and marked  bolts 8,16,24,32. From there it's easy to count away from them to do the right pattern.

That's what i did. I did for at about 30 min each.

Of course, mine are dirty, we're used, and the tires had to be taken off the old wheels using the harbor freight tool. Now THAT is a pain in the ass.

New tires on new rims? That a breeze

Ha, it's nothing too special.

After the power washing and hand soap wash down make sure your rings are nice and dry. I simply use a small can of rustoleum black gloss paint  and an artist brush and paint any of the rock rash spots. Standard process after each ride because I hate rust spots and it really only takes a couple min per wheel.

Got it. My cardboard has a cut out of a curved slot to match the ring about 8-10" long and I press it against the wheel, spray the clean ring from a few angles, done. Goes really fast. Rustoleum satin.

How do you handle the rash that happens on the inner part of the ring sometimes?  That's where the hand painting works well. And in between bolt heads too.
