I spoke to him about it at Tellico, and I'm 99% sure they are installed. Heck of a deal, can't believe it's not gone yet.

I would have bought it when mine went bad, but had to change to 4:88's (and don't want electric over air).  The 4:56's are installed, and the 4:10's are loose.

I though you didn't want air over electric?  ;)

Well heck, I'm gonna need a new driver's hub soon (popping like a mad man and moving when I hit the brakes  :o yikes) So I might as well buy a new assembly and regear the rear, right? Right. That's the most logical and responsible thing to do. Well now that I can justify it...  ;D

That didn't take long.   :-X  I meant to mention to you that I hope it has good ball joints.  I had to replace the ones on my new Hi-pinion 30.

ball joints are pretty cheap, sort of a pain, unless you have the right tool.  for my 44 they were like 30.00 each

It's 2 hours labor per side and about $160 for both sides upper and lower parts, or a total of around $460 depending on the shop rate and quality of parts purchased.

22.00 to 91.00 each on advance auto parts web site.  the high dollar ones are adjustable for camber/caster alignments.

the tool to remove and replace is 100.00 deposit at autozone, free once returned

if taken to shop i have been quoted upwards of 900.00 to replace all four joints parts and labor.

they are really not that hard to replace assumeing they even need replaceing.  they have been replaced within maybe 5,000 miles so i'm pretty sure there good.  i did mention that i would replace them in a PM but that is just me, piece of mind, sort of like replaceing a u-joint.  it might not be bad but if it's all ready out and apart then why not, cheap insurance. 8)

Do you have any of the steering with the axle?

no i bent that all up which pushed me into finishing my d44 up.  the only other thing missing is the disc's.  the calipers and pads go with it.  i also found a new in the box pinion seal that goes with it.
