Title: Gambler 500
Post by: Jango on June 27, 2019, 02:13:09 PM
Has anyone ever heard of/ participated in the Gambler 500?

It originated in Oregon and branched out to basically every state in the U.S. I haven't been doing much wheeling in Florida but decided to participate in the gambler 500 that is in north GA during the weekend of July 27-28. Looks like there may be quite a few people/rigs in attendance so the forest service roads of N. GA will probably be well traveled with some mad max type vehicles. Should be an interesting site to see.  I am sure there will be numerous people stuck along the trails in their 2wd miatas.

Here's a quick video of what its about for those not sure what it is.

I've read about it and followed a few builds on Pirate in the past. Seems like it could be a fun time with friends

i watched the builds and party the first couple years, but it almost seems sold out now the way its turned into a cult thing. I hope they have communicated intentions with USFS or else itll be one giant road block with the law shutting it down.
