Title: Beasley Knob
Post by: PurpleJeepXJ on October 11, 2019, 10:28:52 AM
I am headed to Beasley Knob this Saturday 10/12/19. I have never been there before and see that there are some tougher portions. I have a JKS without lockers. I do have a 3" lift, 33's, front and rear bumpers, winch, front disconnects, and sliders. Any suggestions as to what trails to definitely avoid? I did print out a map and from what i have researched 93B & C are just straight up small boulders. Is that correct?

Take another jeep with you. Try to never wheel alone. I have not been there in several years so I can't advise on trail conditions.

I have a buddy that's bringing his truck and 4 wheeler, maybe trailering his CJ too. I have done the wheeling alone one too many times and sleeping in a Jeep on a trail with no cell or CB reception was a horrible choice.

93B is the only "sketchy" trail there. Most of it is steep dirt trail. As stated above. Do not wheel alone....

Been a long time since I've been.
I would say do not get on 93b.
Other than that have fun. Should be fine with as dry as it's been. Wet is a nightmare winch fest.
