Title: Stuff happens

Short story long...
My mom was was diagnosed with early stage of breast cancer in late January. She had a few surgeries & finished chemotherapy on July 8th.
At Windrock on Friday, I received a message from my future x wife via Kevin (thanks again) that my mom was in the ICU.
She was in there until yesterday. They upgraded her condition daily.
This morning they found her with no pulse and unresponsive.
She was gone. Fortunately, on Friday my gut told me this was going to happen & I was semi prepared for this but not really.

Point being, don't take life for granted. This day could be the last.

@Big Dave hey bud, I'm real sorry to hear this and am thinking about you & your family . Your advice about appreciating every moment  is very sage and selfless. Any mom would be proud of a son capable of that attitude and selflessness.

My sincerest condolences and prayers David. Cancer sucks, breast cancer took my grandmother as well. Y’all are in our prayers.
