Title: Shop near downtown
Post by: CaneJeep on July 24, 2020, 09:11:10 PM
I have a friend that has a stock Jeep and is looking for a shop near downtown Atlanta. Any recommendations?

Depending on what he wants done, talk to the guys at Tire South in Howell mill. They do a lot more than just tires

An update, he’s got a 4 cylinder TJ that needs a new engine. Tire South doesn’t do that kind of work. Any other shops that you can recommend?

I mean, for that type of thing I'd be willing to travel, so Allsouth, GA Jeep Tech, maybe Fortec.  Tom's 4x4 is a more distant option.

Interview them like they're applying for a job.  Have they done it? How many have they done? References.

Not Fortec.  Don’t waste your time on them.

But Allsouth, JeepTech, Tom’s 4x4. They all have the experience.
